Hi everyone,
We've had a few requests this summer for general tips on stain removal, so I thought I’d share them here!
-
Use powdered detergent - it's more effective for stain removal in the wash.
-
For pre-treating a stain, liquid detergent works best.
3. Cold water is generally the most effective for stains, except for oil. Warm water works better for oil, as it helps lift the stain.
4. Restoration oxygen cleaner is excellent for tough stains. Here's a link to one of my favourites: click here.
5. In the store, our go-to method is soaking the stained garment in OxyClean (or even better, restoration oxygen cleaner) with Dawn dish soap.
Tip: Always do a small test patch on your garment before trying any of these methods!
